Russell Ewing is an American film, television and stage actor and writer currently residing in New York City (proud member of SAG/AFTRA). Russell is appearing in the highly-anticipated television series, Fallout, opposite Walton Goggins on April 12, 2024 streaming on Amazon Prime. As a 2021 MFA graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Art’s grad acting program, Russell took leading roles as Pale in Burn This, Tom Moody in Goldenboy, Astrov in Uncle Vanya, and Antony in Antony and Cleopatra. He also holds a BA in Acting from UC San Diego, where he had the pleasure of acting in an array of graduate and undergraduate shows as well as exciting new works on the stages of the La Jolla Playhouse. He was the 2013 recipient of the Milton H. Saier Award for excellence in performance for his body of work while in San Diego.

Before pursuing his MFA, Russell embarked on a three-year tour of US Naval and Marine Corps bases worldwide as an actor for Pure Praxis, a socially adaptive and interactive theater company that addresses sexual assault and retaliation issues. At the same time, he formed the Youngest Brother theater and film production company with his artistic partner, Jack Mikesell. Their first collaboration was immersive multimedia performances in borderland deserts in preparation for a wild production of True West in Los Angeles, with Russell in the role of Lee.

Russell is a native of Colorado, where he developed his spirit for the outdoors and returns to hike, ski, play ice hockey, and ride horses. Part of a musical family, he is a singer and plays the piano and guitar.
